BIG BUSINESSES DO NOT RUN ON PERSONAL CONNECTIONS

“Businesses run on personal connections.” We have often heard this statement from our seniors. But this is not true. Our previous generations relied maximum on personal contacts to grow but then this produced only a few global chains and industries . In the age of globalization, in order to grow big business owners need to increase their target audiences, in small proportions at a time.

Well, this statement might sound contradictory. But it is true. Increasing your audience immeasurably causes you to loose control over the audience. Too much audience means lesser control. So, the way to grow your audience is to target a particular section at a time. You might have developed a website but the process doesn’t end there. Today, a lot of businesses have their own websites but how will you reach your audience?

The answer is by using content that can motivate your audience to buy from you. Graphic designing has become an integral part of any business. It helps you be more professional and establishes a good impression. Other than that it is audience specific. Just like, a grunge look might not attract scientists, similarly every design you make or the content you write might not have an impact on your audience.

Are you well read in consumer psychology? Do you your target audience completely? Do you understand the designs and concepts that trigger them to buy your products? Do you also practice designing things? A lot of people will answer “NO”. To those who answer “YES”- how much time do you think you will take on an average everyday? The time you should be spending making new sales strategies.

Publishing a flyer that reaches many but affects none is a BIG,BIG problem. Get yourself a logo that helps you establish your brand.

  • The first step to be the CEO is to behave like one and things will follow. So, get yourself that appeals to your consumers and helps them recognize you.

  • Secondly, go for brochure publishing. Brochures are helpful for people who are not on the internet and help your prospective clients to get an idea of your products, the features your products have and the pricing. This is helpful because people can walk away with them once they visit your business centre.

  • Thirdly, get a specific packaging design for yourself. Remember, the difference between clients and consumers is that clients stay for only one time while consumers have a long term association with you. So, in order to translate your clients into consumers is by providing them better services including the packaging, so that they realize that you are really obliged them to handover your product.

  • Fourthly, get yourself flyers designed on a regular basis. Flyers help you communicate with your audience that might not be visiting your store but can be your clients. So get your flyers distributes. What better way to start off your sports’ equipments business than getting flyers distributed in local games?

  • Fifthly, participate in events. Events are a very useful portion of business expansion. Since the target audiences comes to you and a lot of companies are involved in the events, so more target audience. They come to the event with a mind to check out different products. Establish a permanent impression on them. Get your flex designed. This will help them remember you and also you will look quite professional and dedicated.

  • Sixthly, get some corporate products designed like visiting cards- so that whenever you go , you leave a mark. You or your salesperson can distribute the visiting cards, so that they have your number and address at hand and can contact you anytime. They also get to know about your position in the organisation. A sales manager can win better trust of people than an executive. So, these products are a must

  • Lastly, PLAN.EXECUTE. A few things may go haywire but in the end it is your perseverance that matters. So, always be determined and never loose heart for things that didn’t work out.

GET AN E-COMMERCE WEBSITE AT LOW COST

“ I have a medical store. I usually had clients from hospitals and gave them the best services possible. But still handling clients who lived far away from my store was very difficult. I wanted to increase my client base but reaching out to distant clients was a difficult task.

My sales had shown a steady but unsatisfactory progress. Employing salesmen didn’t make sense because the employment cost was higher than my actual returns. Moreover, a lot of times it happened my clients needed me at odd hours.

To tackle these problems at low rates, I went to get myself an e-commerce website and listed all my products. Today, I have better profit margin and I am growing my business. I don’t mind people disturbing me at odd hours, my website handles it all.”

WHAT IS AN E-COMMERCE WEBSITE?

A e-commerce website is a site that sells products over the internet. It allows the client to select the products according to his requirements and then pay the respective company.

DO NOT GO ON-LINE INSTEAD GO ONLINE

“ Gone are the days when field sales and a support store used to lure customers. Today, most of your targeted audience is so busy that they don’t have time to tend salesperson or visit your store. From food to clothes to books to electronic devices, everything is ordered online these days. It becomes very difficult for them to take out time out of their hectic schedule.

A website is a presentation of your business in a world where everyone can access it and hence you have more audience. Only a few people will pass by the street where you have your set up but with SEO a lot of people from distant places can have an idea of your business when you are one of the top result in google search.

A website is less expensive than flyers, banners that you create and moreover imagine the amount of financial load you will have to weigh on your shoulders if you want to establish new business centres every now and then.

Website helps you advertise your company. You can advertise yourself on social media with a link to your website and 90% people visit social media everyday. You can pop up on instagram and facebook. People who click can be directed to your website, where they get an idea regarding your company and the products you deal in with.

95% stores are not 24*7. An e commerce website doesn’t ward off or disappoint your potential customers since they can order things anytime online. A lot of people get time when they are alone in the night. A way to shop at night can help you very since, since you wont be missing any of your customers.

You can send mails to people from your official email ID and also create a feedback section in your website, so that you receive constant feedback from your audience regarding your products and services. This helps in building good relationships with your clients.

Website is an opportunity to build credibility to your audience. It establishes a trust factor with your clients. An online presence means that you would want the client to give negative feedback on social media and other networking site and hence you provide good services. Moreover, people who are not in your vicinity can also get an idea about you and hence a website will help them rely upon you.

A larger audience, 24*7 business opportunity, more efficiently targeting your audience means more sales. The main motto of any business is to improve and grow over time and this helps you do both.

You can even establish a personal contact with people by letting them know about your personal story. This will let them empathize with you and hence the bond strengthens which means a longer relationship between you and your clients.

Thus website development is an integral part of any business and should be a necessary step taken in order to grow your business.
